Project Manager Safeway

We are looking for a motivated person with a technical background and experience in the industrial and/of maritime sector. You are at your best when making schedules, ensured that all parties involved know what needs to be done to achieve the planning and the goals agreed upon. You are an analytical and strategic thinker who keeps the overview. As Project Manager you are responsible for the design, construction and delivery of a new Safeway. This can be a modification or improvement of the current system which is built in series, or a custom made project. You manage the project team by coaching and delegating, you keep control on the costs and quality. Internally, the project team consists of engineering, assembly, work preparation and purchasing, externally these are engineering and production partners and the Notified Body. You work structured within your own projects and use your source of knowledge and experience to provide input to current business processes to improve them and prepare them for the growth ambition of Safeway B.V. As Project Manager you report to the Manager Engineering of Safeway B.V.

We Ask:

• Master/Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering (or comparable) or proven experience on this level
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in maritime/offshore markets is preferred
• Experience in leading a team and achieving targets
• Experience in controlling financial progress as well as progress with the client and suppliers
• Proactive, stress resistant, independent and flexible
• Decisive, accurate and quality minded
• Excellent skills of Dutch and English language, spoken and written as well as excellent communication skills

Medewerker montage / Monteur

Wij zoeken een persoon met een technische achtergrond en ervaring in de industriële en maritieme/offshore sector. Je gaat je bezighouden met het assembleren van nieuwbouw loopbruggen maar je zult ook onderhoud plegen aan bestaande machines. Je doet dit in samenwerking met de voorman assemblage van Safeway B.V. en een team van subcontractors. Aangezien de separate onderdelen en de totale opbouw van de machine te groot is om binnen op te bouwen en op te slaan, zul je voornamelijk buiten werken. Dit vereist tevens een mate van handigheid en creativiteit om de montage en het onderhoud uit te voeren. Als medewerker montage / monteur rapporteer je aan de Site Manager van Safeway B.V.

Wij vragen

• Afgeronde MBO opleiding werktuigbouwkunde (of vergelijkbaar) of aantoonbare ervaring op dit niveau
• Ervaring in de maritieme/offshore sector is een pre
• VCA-basis
• Heftruck en hoogwerker certificaat
• Technische tekeningen kunnen lezen
• Kunnen werken met/aan hydraulische systemen
• Proactief, stressbestendig, zelfstandig en flexibel
• Accuraat en kwaliteitsgericht
• Beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift

Mechanical Engineer Safeway

We are looking for a motivated person with experience in the industrial and/of maritime sector. As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for the design, construction and the construction files of Safeway parts. This can be a modification or improvement for the current system, or a custom made project. You are at your best when a design is properly transferred into drawings and documents to be used by the purchaser and manufacturer to realise your design.

You are an analytical person who makes and checks drawings and calculations. You can draft design specifications and you are familiar with offshore design standards. You have the knowledge of materials, dimensioning and tolerances. You will guide and check the output from external engineering companies. Furthermore you give your support during production, assembly and testing of the gangway.

You work structured within the project team and use your source of knowledge and experience to improve current business processes to support the growth ambition of Safeway B.V.

As Mechanical Engineer you report to the Manager Engineering of Safeway B.V. ‍

• Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in maritime/offshore markets is preferred
• Experience in 2D / 3D CAD software (preferable Solid Works / AutoCAD), document management and ERP software
• Basic knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems
• Proactive, stress resistant, independent and flexible
• Decisive, accurate and quality minded
• Excellent skills of Dutch and English language, spoken and written as well as excellent communication skills
